Create your own beautiful Fabric Sewing Machine with a functional drawer using Cartonnage! Made with paperboard, fabric and glue—no sewing required—this unique project is a wonderful statement piece for your sewing room and a very special handmade gift for any sewing or fabric lover.
The finished Sewing Machine is approximately 10" x 10" x 6 1/2" and, thanks to our extra-heavy 100-point chipboard, it will be surprisingly sturdy while beautifully covered with your favorite fabrics.

You can choose to finish the top as a pincushion or simply decorative—both options are included in the instructions.
You will also need: two coordinating fabrics (approximately 1 yard each), glue and basic Cartonnage/craft tools. Fabric, glue and other decorative items shown in the photos are not included.
Your kit includes easy directions and a password to access the online PDF instructions. This is a written/photo tutorial, not a video class, so you can work through this special project at your own time and pace.
Our Cartonnage spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool are also recommended to make the process easier and help you achieve a beautiful finish.
