Make your own fabric box with NO-SEW using cartonnage technique. It is so fun and it makes a unique handmade gift! You can make your own keepsake boxes, cases and much more out of paperboard, fabric and glue with this lovely craft!! And your pieces will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric! This is an unique fabric box with a window in the lid.

This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard and other pieces you need to make your own small fabric elegant window box, as shown in the pictures, including the metal handle. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 6 ¼” x 3 ¾” x 3 ½”. No worries about cutting paper! Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included.

The instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (eBook) with 205 pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's eBook), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer.

For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), glue (Glue All from Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissors and paper awl.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.

Still Working on It!

Don't have time at the moment to do the Small Elegant Window Box but anxious to get to it within the next few weeks. Like all of Claudia's kits and instruction, it will be fabulous. First time working with a window.

Great gift for any tea lover!

This is the perfect size to hold tea bags, but of course you can use it for many other things as well. Fun to make.
