Make your own fabric box with NO-SEW using cartonnage technique. It is so fun and it makes a unique handmade gift! This is a great spinning box that you will make out of paperboard, fabric and glue with this lovely craft!! And your pieces will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric!

This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard and other pieces you need to make your own spinning box, as shown in the pictures. Fabric IS NOT included, use your favorite fat quarters! The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 6". No worries about cutting paper! Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included. Lazy susan included! Finish your box, then glue it on the bottom using instant glue!

ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE! The instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (eBook) with 155 pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's eBook), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer.

Basic cartonnage complementary content with videos you can see in my FREE online course Joy of Cartonnage.

To make the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), white PVA glue (Glue All from Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting mat,  a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissors and instant glue.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.

Organized

Great organizer that once you make one you have to have another. The spinner part scared me but I have to tell you that the step by step instructions covered every detail and it spins!

So handy!

I keep this on my side table next to the couch. It keeps all those items I like next to me organized and easy to reach. The kit was cut precisely and the pieces fit together perfectly. Another great kit by Claudia!
