When we think about creating with fabric, most of us naturally think about a needle and thread. Sewing, quilting and embroidery are beautiful traditions that have inspired generations of makers...and many Cartonnage lovers are also passionate sewists and quilters.

Ten years ago, I designed my first Fabric Sewing Machine using Cartonnage.
I originally created it to celebrate the beautiful connection between Sewing and Cartonnage, but that project ended up becoming something very special in my own creative journey.It challenged me to think beyond traditional boxes. Could we create different shapes?
Could we transform paperboard and fabric into something completely unexpected?The answer was YES! That project gave me confidence to experiment, explore new ideas and discover just how much FUN we could have gluing fabric. And now, 10 years later, I think that's something worth celebrating!
