Cartonnage is a lovely craft! Making your own fabric box is so fun and it makes an unique handmade gift! You can make your own keepsake boxes, cases and much more out of paperboard, fabric and glue with this amazing craft......and your pieces will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric!

These tags were designed to personalize even more any cartonnage box or case! This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with cardboard to make fabric tags (pack with 5) and add them to your projects, as shown in the pictures. The finished tag will be 3 x 2 inches, and after adding the tag to your box or case you will be able to add the name and change it later if you want. If you prefer you can add clear plastic adhesive (contact paper), to protect the label. If you want the label to be removable, you will also need small pieces of thin chipboard and you can reuse cereal boxes for that.

To make the tags you can have FREE  instructions in my free online course  Joy of Cartonnage.  There is a video showing in details all the process. More than this, you will find other basic cartonnage complementary content with videos in my basic course.

For making the tags you will need this kit, one small scrap of fabric, scissors, white PVA glue (Glue All - Elmer's), paint brush, masking tape and the name you want printed in one piece of cardstock. Optional - clear contact plastic adhesive and small pieces of cereal box or another kind of thin chipboard.
