Handmade books are great to keep family recipes, pictures, notes, and they are unique gifts! This DIY Kit comes with the cardboard pieces you need to make your own handmade fabric stitched book, as shown in the pictures. You will need additional materials described below. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project.

No worries about cutting thick cardboard when using kits, and the pieces are precisely cut for a great finishing of your book!
This kit was designed to be used with the PDF tutorial you will find in the tutorials section of the shop.
For making the book you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), glue (Glue-All from Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, scissors, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, paper awl, waxed cotton thread, needle, kraft paper. Embellishments like ribbons and elastics are optional.
To facilitate the process of making and to have better finishing of your project you will need to use cartonnage tools that you will find in the tools section of the shop.
